Industry-Leading Quality Control
At Rockpress we live and breathe quality and are committed to producing products that meet or exceed your expectations. Our in-house QA Team uses calibrated measuring equipment including verniers and bore gauges to ensure parts are the correct size and dimension, as well as ensuring weld and finish standards are maintained.
We take quality assurance further by integrating PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and FAI (First Article Inspection) into our production workflows to proactively identify and mitigate risk before parts go into full-scale production. Every job is supported with a Certificate of Conformance, providing assurance that it has been manufactured in accordance with the required specifications.
Rockpress also ensures full traceability of material from receipt through to final product, enabling end-to-end accountability and compliance. Where applicable, reverse engineering can be conducted to recreate legacy components or validate incoming parts against original specifications.
Our Hexagon Metrology RA-7330 Romer Arm provides a complete, portable measuring system. With a 1.5m measuring radius, length accuracy of ±0.100mm and a point repeatability of 0.079mm, it is the ideal tool for process control and inspection of large fixtures and other large machined or fabricated parts.
Coupling this with our PolyWorks Inspector software, we can quickly and efficiently produce detailed 3D scan reports highlighting dimensional coordinates, allowed tolerances, and any deviations—delivering transparent, precise, and reliable QA documentation.
